First HIV-Positive Travelers Enter America
5 Jan
This escaped my attention and garnered little interest in the international press: the lifting of the HIV-positive travel ban in America. Yesterday saw the first HIV-positive travelers enter the country since the ban began in 1987, which is good news for HIV and human rights activists everywhere. There’s more on the lifting of the ban here and here. Could the US could now lift the restrictions on its citizens visiting Cuba too?
