Catalonia bans bullfighting

Catalonia has just made history, becoming the first part of mainland Spain to ban bullfighting for good. More here. With David Cameron chomping at the bit to bring fox hunting back hunting (with vague assurances that somehow it won’t be cruel), it’s nice to see some progress against barbaric “sports” elsewhere in the world.
